¡Celébrase la naturaleza en la ciudad y el ambiente del Columbia Slough!  Este festival bilingüe de la familia y el medio ambiente ofrece actividades en español y ingles para todos las edades.  ¡Explorando es GRATIS!

Join the Columbia Slough Watershed Council for the eighth annual Explorando El Columbia Slough on Saturday June 20, 2009 from 1:00- 5:00 p.m. This bilingual family environmental festival celebrates nature in the city and the environment of the Columbia Slough. Explorando is FREE, and all activities are in both Spanish and English.

• Guided canoe trips / Viajes y Aventuras en canoas
• Live performances:
  • Musica por: Bajos Solarios
  • Ballet Folklorico y danza azteca
  • Bilingues historias / storytelling por: Omar Vargas
• Arts, crafts & games / artes y juegos
• Rock climbing wall / Escalamiento en una pared de roca artificial
• Live bugs and birds! / bichos y pájaros vivos!
• Connect with local community organizations

El primer 400 personas les recibirán camisetas gratis del Explorando 2009. Pases gratis a las albercas de los parques de Portland para los primeros 300 visitantes. Rifas a grandes premios como pases a OMSI y al zoologico de Oregon.

Participants receive a free Explorando t-shirt and a pass to a Portland Parks & Recreation Facility (while supplies last). Free raffle prizes include passes to the Oregon Zoo, OMSI, and more!
