Kick off 2023 with Columbia Slough Watershed Council and Portland Parks & Recreation at a cleanup event at the Kelley Point Park canoe and kayak launch!

Where: After turning onto N Kelley Point Park road, you will meet us in the first parking lot on your left. This is the canoe/kayak access point onto the Columbia Slough. Keep an eye out for the Columbia Slough Watershed Council sign! Parking is free in this gravel lot.

What To Bring: Pack along water, weather appropriate clothing (think rain) and sturdy close toed shoes. Work gloves, trash bags and trash pickers will be provided for you.

Public Transit: Bus #11 will drop riders at N Lombard & Simmons, rougly an 18 minute walk from our work site.

Accessibility: Volunteers are welcome to work on the even surface of the gravel parking lot, or venture further towards the water which can become uneven and muddy.

Restrooms are available further in Kelley Point Park, however not at our immediate work site.
