Run Club at Glendoveer Nature Exercise Trails

  • Von Ebert Brewing Glendoveer & Kitchen 14021 Northeast Glisan Street Portland, OR, 97230 United States (map)

Join CSWC, Keen Footwear, and Oregon Walks for a group run and walk at Glendoveer Nature Exercise Trails! Whether you are just getting into running or are a seasoned runner, we’d love to see you running with us! There will be a 2 mile loop that can be ran or walked. Meet up at between 5:30pm-5:45pm and run starts at 6pm. No drop, all speeds welcome, good times guaranteed.

Raffle: All participants will have the opportunity to enter our raffle for Keen Footwear shoes! Winners will be drawn after the run.

Footwear Demo: Keen Footwear will be offering shoe testing for participants. Sizes and shoe styles are limited and will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Try out their trail-running shoes and find your new favorite pair! Shoes available for demo will be the Seek, Roam, and possibly the Wander.

What to bring: Dress for the weather and pack lots of water. Snacks and drinks will be available after the run. Wear running/walking shoes or try out some of Keen’s! Dogs are not allowed in this park because they can damage sensitive habitat and threaten wildlife.

Getting there: Free parking will be available at Von Ebert Glendoveer Brewing Glendoveer & Kitchen. We will meet inside Von Ebert Brewing.

After the run, a room is reserved at Von Ebert Brewing to enjoy a drink, connect with peers, and win raffle items!

By Bus: Bus line #75 has a stop at Glisan and 141st, which is about a 0.2-mile walk to the Glendoveer Exercise Trails.

Accessibility:

There are a couple of restrooms and water fountains located inside the Von Ebert Brewery. There are also porta potties on the Nature Trail. All paces welcome. The route will mostly be wood chips/mulch, dirt and flat trails. Slight uphill grade during a stretch of the run. Total elevation gain is 91ft.

We will have a running group and a walking group. The walking group will do an ‘out and back’ around .5-1.0 miles on the trail.
