Join Bird Alliance of Oregon educator Chris and Columbia Slough Watershed Council for a celebration of our little flying mammals on a summer evening at Whitaker Ponds. We’ll seek to demystify bats, as we search for them and try identifying them using a Bat Detector.
We will time our visit for evening, when they are most active, so make sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp. Binoculars might be helpful, so bring a pair if you have one, or let us know and we will be happy to bring a pair for you. A full email of what to expect will be sent out one week prior to the event.
