No Ivy Day!

No Ivy Day!

Saturday October 28, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Join Portland Parks and Recreation and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council at the Johnson Lake Property to help restore this natural area by pulling invasive ivy! We will take a short walk into the park to locate and pull patches of English Ivy. Removing invasive species helps encourage native species regeneration and improve wildlife habitat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and snacks will be provided. Please wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome - all children must be supervised by an adult.
