Sponsorship Opportunities

The year 2020 marks the start of a new decade, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and the beginning of our second generation as the Columbia Slough Watershed Council.  Now, more than ever, we are inspired by the passion of our community members, the dedication of our volunteers, and the support of local businesses that have joined the Council in protecting and enhancing our land and waterways.

This season, you have the opportunity to ensure the longevity of a healthy watershed through giving. Connect with the people and partners who live, work, and play in our watershed at the level that is right for you. Through your sponsorship, you demonstrate your values for clean water, thriving landscapes, and a community that cares.

Sponsor the Slough Celebration Gala

The Slough Celebration Gala is our signature benefit event, through which we recognize community leaders and raise vital support for environmental stewardship, education, and equitable access to nature. We invite you to join us in celebrating each other’s successes and planting the seeds for a promising and sustainable future.

Sponsor a Community Festival

Show your community that you care about the health and stewardship of our watershed by supporting one of our three summer festivals:

  • ¡Explorando el Columbia Slough! - June 2020

  • Great Slough Clean-Up - July 2020

  • Columbia Slough Regatta - August 2020

Each of these festivals offers unique opportunities for our community to engage with the nature in their backyard. Your support will ensure that these important events remain free and engaging for community participants.

Earth Day Oregon Business Partner

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by joining nonprofits and businesses across the state in the Earth Day Oregon campaign!

The Council is looking for business partners to donate or sponsor a fundraiser in honor of Earth Day, in order to help us strengthen the reach and effectiveness of our community programs. In turn, your business will receive recognition and publicity through the Council's outreach platforms, as well as Earth Day Oregon's website and social media accounts.
