Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council for an Impromptu Paddle Clean-Up. When life hands you a rescheduling, plug in a Paddle Clean-up! This event will be held on the Slough Waters, launching from NE Alderwood and NE Glassplant, going west. This a free event.
What to bring: Pack along water and dress accordingly for the weather. We would suggest wearing clothes and shoes that you dont mind getting muddy/wet. Snacks, drinks, gloves, garbage bags, and pickers will be available. Leave all large bags and valuables at home or hidden in a locked vehicle.
Accessibility: Free parking is available along Glassplant Rd. There is no restroom on site. The boat ramp down can be steep and has loose gravel. Footing can be slippery. Individuals must be able to sit in a boat ~2 to 3 hours.
Public Transportation: Bus #87 makes the closest stop to Johnson Lake by dropping riders off at NE 105th & Simpson.
