Sparrowhawk Native Plants Sale 2026

CSWC and The Blueprint Foundation are teaming up with Sparrowhawk Native Plants to bring another spring native plant sale to East Portland! Together, we’re offering about 115 species of habitat-friendly native plants while raising up to $5000 to support CSWC and Blueprint’s work in the Slough!

Funding will support The Blueprint Foundation and CSWC’s collaboration, including our annual Vanport Stewardship Event, which connects students to the watershed’s history while addressing the disenfranchisement of Black communities following the 1948 floods through environmental restoration. This partnership was established to leverage our shared commitment to environmental justice and community empowerment, mainly focusing on training, workforce development, and job creation for Black and Indigenous communities.

The Blueprint Foundation reconnects Black-identified youth and young adults to nature by providing mentorship and culturally specific learning opportunities. By tending to the environment, Blueprint youth invest in nature, their communities, and themselves. It is Blueprint’s mission to empower future generations one seed, one tree, one stream at a time.

Online ordering begins Sunday, March 1! Orders will be available for pick-up at Level Beer on Fri, May 8, and Sat, May 9, perfectly timed for your spring planting. We recommend signing up for Sparrowhawk’s email list to be updated when the sale is live.
